Throughout the 2000s, Seiko 5 enthusiasts revered the SNZH5 series, now serving as the muse for the contemporary Seiko 5 SRPK97K. This new iteration draws inspiration from the iconic SNZH5 line while embracing a modern SKX aesthetic.
The SRPK97K, a redesign of the SNZH5, preserves its original charm while adopting the sleek finish of Seiko's latest global releases. Revitalizing the classic blueprint, it showcases a glossy hardlex surface on the bezel and a metallic coating between the bezel and glass, enhancing its lustre. The revamped design features a refined blue dial with indices intricately engraved with grooved lines. The bracelet maintains its solid links, highlighted by horizontal polishing on its centrepieces.
Powered by the in-house 24 Jewels 4R36 automatic hacking movement, the SRPK97K offers both self-winding and manual winding capabilities, boasting an accuracy of 45 / -35 seconds per day and a 41-hour power reserve.
Seiko 5 Sports has built a reputation over fifty years for reliability, durability, performance, and value. The "5" symbolizes the enduring five key features: Automatic movement, Day-date display, Water Resistance, Recessed crown, and Durable case and bracelet.
